Default NL200 - AA gets checkraised on the turn

My table image is a fairly tight aggressive 20/15 style. Villain here was something like 28/10 but I don't have a good read on him. I really didn't know what to do on the turn. I thought the villain probably had a pretty huge hand after he called oop on the flop and then checkraised the turn. I didn't want to push because I felt like he must have a monster hand to take this line and I didn't want to fold because it was a minraise and wouldn't quite pot commit me. Can I play this hand better?

I'd make my decision on the turn.

What is his aggression factor..?

His AF is only 1.14 over 74 hands. It feels really hard to fold AA on the turn there, but maybe that would have been for the best.

i'm thinking he hit his set of 4s on flop. Seems just about the right kind of hand to just call your raise pf.

his line looks exactly like QQ, 44, 77 or maybe a 4 7 suited depending how much he likes to gamble and take multiway pots deep stacked.

I say you also need to judge how smart and deceitful he is, and how smart he thinks you are and if any of that is even relevant after the number of hands you played with him.

I say this because it looks so obviously like a big hand maybe he is trying to pull a fast one on you, but i think to go with that read you need a lot of history and a lot more information.

I would say folding isn't bad here, although i do wonder how many times he's taking this line with an AQ or something a little bit worse and if that should factor into any decisions.

The pot is 3 handed, and the board is pretty dry. I like c/cing this turn a good portion of the time to control the pot, get value on the river from a queen, and also getting some information from the check. For example, this is a much easier fold if button bets, and BB raises. If he checks behind, you probably crush button and open yourself to some bluffs by BB on the river.

If BB checks the river, you have a wicked easy value bet that will get called way more often than if your turn bet.
