I don't know about the Canadian side but the Buffalo/Niagara Falls Intl Airport is about 15-20 mins from the casino.

What would be the best way to get to the casino from the airport?

Buffalo is definitely the best bet if you're flying from the States (which I'm assuming you are by the use of "up there"). You avoid annoying international flight details, its cheaper, and its closest. I think this is definitely your best option. I've never flown into Buffalo so I can't help you with how you get to the casino.

Another possibility is flying to Hamilton which I've done a couple of times. Its a small airport, and you'd probably have to rent a car, but its an option and has some cheap carriers that run flights there.

only way is by car. the airport is right near the highway...takes 25 minutes to drive up there...bring your passport these days so you dont get hassled at the border. Oh and stop at duty free on the way up for some cheap booze. There are a bunch of adequate motels on clifton hill mixed in with the wax museums/ripleys believe it or not if you dont want to splurge to stay at the casino.

If you enjoy a little "canadian ballet" go to the Sundowner...about 10 minute drive from whatever the road is at the top of clifton hill, and bring lots of american singles and canadian twenties for the back room I hear the place next door is quite a bit more frisky if that floats your boat, so to speak.....

That is all you need to know about niagara.

If your flying in from the states Buffalo is your best bet. Now if you do it at the last minute maybe Toronto because of the higher volume of flights. Hamilton could be an option but you would have to plan ahead as the volume of flights are less. The drive is 1 to 1.5 hours west from Toronto, 45 minutes west from Hamilton and a half hour from Buffalo but you have an extra border wait.

Toronto is generally more expensive than other airports (obviously depends on specific flights though) and is further than Buffalo (or Hamilton, but I doubt that will work). Its a distant second choice after Buffalo.

I live near Niagara Falls in Canada. The best airport is Buffalo, cross the Peace Bridge at Buffalo/Fort Erie, Canada and take the QEW (Highway) to Niagara Falls. Seriously airport to casino is no more than 30 minutes.

Do NOT fly Toronto. It's 1.5 hours or worse depending on traffic + more expensive.

friends and I were up there recently - it is quite easy to fly into buffalo, take the bus to buffalo center, catch the bus to the american side of niagara, walk across, then catch a cheap cab to the fallsview resort. Just ask at the information booth in the airport for how to get to niagara.
