I'd probably push the turn. 1/2 of your stack is in the pot at that point and the 8 of spades is a great card as it is very unlikely to help his hand. I think a king would check raise or lead that flop. Make him pay to hit a club on that last card.

The guy is a loose calling stations most Kx hands will play this the same as a flush draw hand. I do like your advice and was thinking the same thing on the turn since if we were best before, the 8 didn't hurt us.

Awesomeness.

As for the hand, the main question is preflop IMO. I like a limp here, but raising surely can't be bad. Postflop looks quite standard, unless he's such a fish he's calling down with any pair. Against anyone with two braincells to rub together you played it well.

Possibly raise less preflop as your c-bet will commit you.

I think I push the turn

Pushing that turn looks good, now, but I was not able to put him on any hand.
I mean, that flop call does not make sense.

I'm weak and just limp pf. He will call your raise and there will prolly be overcards on the flop. After your c-bet and his call the pot will be huge and villain could have a lot of things. Maybe I like to make things too easy for myself but I really don't want to put about 40% of my stack in the pot only to have no idea what I'm supposed to do. Limping obv loses you value but I guess I'm willing to pay for making things easier.
