Here's a scenario: Your the chip leader of a add on tourney with 147k at the break the add on will bring you to 153k the next closest stack is 61k do you add on?

I don't usually don't play add on tournaments but I would still consider it even in a position like this with a huge chip lead, while it may seem like a comfortable lead it can also evaporate in just a few hands.

Another simple justification, you have 3750 left and double up through a mega stack to 7500 if you took the extra 6k from the add-on you would be 19500 almost triple your stack had you not invested, can you really afford to pass that up?
