Default call or raise on the flop? and call or cap on the turn?

SB is 24.24/20.84/2.9,2.5,2.1 850 hds

Ultimate Bet 0.02/0.04 Hold'em (6 handed) Ultimate Bet Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, HERO calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, HERO calls.

Flop: (5 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, HERO calls.

I flopped the straight, but decided to call and just wait for the turn to raise for double the bet size. Since villian is pretty aggro, I wanted him to bet into me on the turn, while I then raise him.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">HERO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, HERO ???

So now, seems like that is a bad turn card for me. Advice?

I agree, this guy is so aggressive that his three-bet heads up could easily be pair+FD.

Just to let you guys know, i called his raise, and Jd came on the flop, and he bet out. What would be more appropriate to do? Fold or call?

I'd fold with a 4th diamond. He might be bluffing it, but probably not, especially given his turn aggression.

I dont mind your flop call as you had position on the aggro villain and you were heads up.

I would call down from villain's turn 3-bet as the flush draw just got there and his 3-bet does represent some strength.

if he's aggro he could easily have an overpair with the ad or kd imo

Very true. His pf raising stats looked very high to me, but his postflop agression seemed more reasonable, although I suppose 850 is not that many hands.

I think pf is bad and I disslike the flop a lot. There are plenty of draws your opp may have or put you on. And many second best hand your opp can 3-bet with. Calling is missing almost an etire street of value. Also your line is more likely to produce a fold before show-down.

Sushi, you mean fold pf? This players are loose, and granted that I'm acting behind, and holding suited connector, the pot is offering me 4:1. It's peeling quite thin, but I could have made an easy fold if the flop misses me completely.

Here's what stove gave me:
Board: 5d 4h 8d
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 93.353% 92.54% 00.81% 326163 2851.50 { 7s6s }
Hand 1: 06.647% 05.84% 00.81% 20574 2851.50 { 55+, A2s+, K9s+, Q9s+, J9s+, T9s, A3o+, K9o+, Q9o+, JTo, T9o }

I have a huge equity on the flop. This says I should have raised for value, and calling would have given up too much equity.

Board: 5d 4h 8d 9d
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 86.147% 85.91% 00.24% 12701 35.00 { 7s6s }
Hand 1: 13.853% 13.62% 00.24% 2013 35.00 { 55+, A2s+, K9s+, Q9s+, J9s+, T9s, A3o+, K9o+, Q9o+, JTo, T9o }

Even when the 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] comes on the turn, my equity has only dropped a little.
