i made some phone calls but only got central station on the phone. they are having a tournament on june 13th for their top 40 points-getters and giving away one seat. you get points by playing live or tournaments.

just FYI the gilpin is having a drawing at the end of june for a seat. you get entries by getting jacks full or better in any game, live or tournament.

gilpin is also having a weekly tournament for a $1500 seat. doesn't really seem worth it to me. you have to make the top 10 in a qualifying tournament each week to play in the weekly tournament. seems like a lot of work for $1500. why not just play the sunday tournament and try to make it that way?

anyone know of any other promotions in colorado for wsop seats?

Well you win along the way in those tournaments also (and you pick up drawing tickets for the 10k seat). Also it will be up to the players to make their reservations in Vegas if they win the $1500 seat. I also heard the Gilpin employs the most experienced floor person in Colorado.
