my year so far, PLO + NLH, 117k hands, 330k
I don't post much on this forum, mostly because I don't play much online anymore and I can only name a handful of players here who I feel actually give useful advice and not flames. I also find it extremely exclusive. You don't get many responses unless you post on a regular basis but I guess that can be a good thing because most of the people who have taken the time to respond with advice to my posts are the players whom I have a great deal of respect for and I would want their thoughts/input.
Anyway, my friend who posts more regularly here told me that posting my stats would help so here we go. Flame away. NLHE  PLO

[/ QUOTE ] I highly doubt that i fall into this category but i will give you a genuine reply, please don't take this as a flame. 330k So far this year is obviously impressive. Congrats on the winnings. However, i would not get too confident, because greater than 70% of your winnings came in less than 2000 hands (think about that for a minute..... SEVENTY PERCENT in TWO THOUSAND hands). You ran sick sick hot when you played at the nosebleed limits. This doesn't necessarily mean you're bad, but it DOES mean that IF you ran cold when you took those shots, you would actually be having a losing year (theoretically). You seem to be playing the bulk of your hands at nl1000. I'd suggest staying at that level and try to avoid the ultra nosebleeds unless you're properly rolled for it. In terms of looking at your stats, 25/17 is a LITTLE on the passive side, your street aggression is also quite weird. I hope you aren't open limping, so the problem may be not 3 betting enough, etc. Congrats on the nosebleed limit success, but take the money and run.
