Default stars $50 - how much to bet heads up with set?

I'm still kind of new at NL, and my bet sizing sucks a lot of the time. I won the hand here, but I'm just wondering if i made a mistake in my bet sizes.

This is villain's second hand, so i had no stats. I think maybe i should have raised more on the flop, as there are draws that could call. I figure i bet a little less than half his stack on the turn, and push on the river. Betting the pot is more than half his stack, so i figured i would go a little light. As played was my turn bet too small? Too big? Not bad?

Default Re: stars $50 - how much to bet heads up with set?

I like it. Taking the initiative on the flop with a set is always best on this flop I think. Villain's small bet looks like a flush draw or OESD looking for a cheap turn/feeler bet to me. I think a K would have checked and let you make a c-bet or bet more himself.

I like the turn as well. I would always bet that around 9 or 10. This makes it a big mistake for draws to call, but at the same time builds a bigger pot for 2 pair hands that will call that bet which you have crushed.
