Sweet bike. It's amazing how much difference an updated bike can make.

i can really tick off the miles on this new bike. last week went

50
30
50
off
30
60
10 (with a friend, blah)

i expect to put in 200+/week from here on out.

pretty sick what a difference the new bike makes. i routinely catch and pass riders in the area now. might be able to race if i ever get skinny.

But are you continuing to consume the requisite amount of alcohol? I can't fathom this program succeeding with any fewer beers/day.

Looks like you're getting some good rides in. When I updated my bike this spring, I immediately increased my avg speed by >2 mph on my 20 mile ride. I've also started riding with a local club which has made me even faster and with more endurance. I've done 3 metric centuries in the last month and a hilly 80 mile ride yesterday.

How much beer are you drinking these days?

i havent kept track exactly of how much i drink but i would imagine im averaging at least 8/day. my roommates can attest to that.

im not really on a program. i dont really have a goal. its more of an experiment. what happens when i add a ton of cycling to my normal lifestyle?

ottsville, where do you live?
