If a complete unknown pushes the river in a small pot at 3/6, then you have to give him credit for the nuts/monster a huge proportion of the time. Sure, QT doesn't make much sense, but 78 does.

I agree with the statement "nuts or nothing", but at 3/6 against an unknown this really is a monster a huge proportion of the time.

Saying that, I can't ever fold a set.

you also have to think about what kind of hands at least semi-competent players will be betting on the river when they get there they way they did. AQ would bet the turn before it would chk the turn then bet a missed river.

river looks like thin value bet by villain and hero makes a huge raise that doesn't appear to be wanting a call. the lightest villain can really be VBing here is JT. river shove can really only be 78 or a very rare 66 w/ tons of air.

calling w/ a set but folding a J seems silly to me as hero will almost never have a pair of Js beat w/o also having a set beat.
