Default Help old man get his 30-inch Dell Monitor working...

Dell XPS 600 computer
NVIDIA GForce 6800 card
Windows XP 2002 Version

Hooked the 30" monitor up and the max resolution I can set it at is 600X800. Yum. Any suggestions?

You need a dual DVI video card.

Dell shouldn't let you buy the monitor without knowing about this. Sigh.

It's fairly simple, dunno if you've ever replaced a video card. But yeah, open the case, remove the current one. Then pop the new one in. Just make sure the card you select is Dual DVI.
