Absolutely Sticky worthy Pokey - Would be a Great Post for everyone new to 2p2 or SSNL in general to read.

Can i ask two newbie questions here? What does tl;dr mean? Where does the term Pooh-bah come from and what does it mean?

Excellent post

As a full ring player for 2 years, then finally taking the time to learn and play 6-max, I will attest to the extreme improvement one can have by learning both.

After spending 20k hands at 6-max and going back to full ring, my win rate increased 50%. I now read hands better than I ever did before. I am much more selectively agressive, both in blind steals and defense. I have learned to read people better as well (although I have decreased tables as well).

I don't usually bother posting unless I disagree with what somebody has said. But I'll make an exception here.

Nice post Pokey. I hadn't thought about the relationship to short-handed play and LAG/TAG but what you said makes sense.
