Iphone users,
Hows the screen holding up so far? Are you guys using any kind of protective covering?

I just got an iphone and looking around town every case I saw sucked. I just want something that will protect the screen while its in my pocket but doesn't require me to take it out of a bulky holder to use it.

I've had two screens go bad so fae. Mind, you, the first was because my wife washed it, but the second just crapped out for no apparent reason. then the loaner phone they sent out wouldnt work. Fun stuff.

the screen is invincible. i have one and so do 4 of my close friends and we all keep it in our pocket unprotected with keys and whatever else and none have any scratches whatsoever.

How fast is the internet on these things in most major cities? Basically I'd like to know if I can browse orbitz/expedia for flights and book a flight close to as quickly as I could on a laptop. TIA.

no covering, and mine goes in my pocket with keys/change/whatever and it is still pristine. it's some kind of glass screen, pretty hard to scratch.

No problems with the screen other than wiping off smudges.

The internet is as fast as your connection is. EDGE is slow, wifi isn't.

Yeah - like everyone else said...no problems. I also got the invisible shield (link below). That is helpful too. Last week I tossed it onto my bed and the phone bounced off smashing into the corner of my desk screen first. Not a scratch on it.
