Avg is probably around 30-35k at this point. Previous hand UTG+1 limped and villain shoved for 42k in the CO, and everyone folded. Only hand villain played since he got moved to the table about an orbit earlier. 3-bet and call a push? Call? 3-bet and fold to a push (not an option imo because that's pretty bad). Thoughts? |

If you reraise will he fold? If the answer is yes then I think you should reraise otherwise just call and see the flop. It's still cheap enough that you can call and fold if you need to later.

I think i like making it 18-20K, then calling a shove (getting over 2 to 1.)

First Instinct: Call and play with position. Is the villians standard raise 4bbs? Does he vary his raises a lot or does he stick to whatever his standard raise is mostly?
Ill be more in depth when its not 4 in the morning here. |

call 4bb raisers rarely fold online [/ QUOTE ] What's are plan for calling, are we check folding an A K or Q high flop, what if we are c/r on an all undercard flop? I think I agree with you, a call probably would be best in this situation, I was just wondering what our plan was for the rest of the hand. It seems like we are losing this pretty often even if our opponent doesn't have the best hand. |

[/ QUOTE ] That's all the info I had on him. I assumed he wasn't very good since the previous hand he shoved 35bb's in the CO after an EP limper. Still somewhat debating on my best play here. I'm obv ahead of his MP3 opening range, but stack sizes are unfortunetly perfect for him to 4-bet, and if he does, I have to call because I'm getting the right price even vs. a QQ+, AK range but I don't really like it. Calling seems to be the better play, but any Q,K,A flop will be hard to play. I think calling pre and floating most flops might be the best play. Obv if the flop is AKQ or something like that I can drop it, but I think peeling most Q,K or A high flops to see what he does on the turn is ok. If he two-barrels I think I can safely fold. If I have an overpair I think calling the flop is ok too, because villain will usually have 2-6 outs if I'm ahead. If I still have an overpair on the turn and the board is somewhat dry and he 2-barrels I think I'm stacking off vs. an unknown. Is that ok or no? |

Re-raise. Call a shove quickly.
