Default NL25: River Value Bet w/ OverPair

Villain is not completely straight forward. I have notes that he has ck raised before, although not necessarily on the river. He folds a lot to cbet and usually has something if playing past the flop. What is the best line on the river given that he checked both the turn and river. Bet 2/3 of the pot or ck behind. If he ck raises river, then what?

I also realize that my flop raise is not big enough. $9 seems better.

AF = 13!!! wow.

I cant see an agressive player checking the turn and river with a set or better, something like 98 or 87 would have probably raised somewhere as well.

Is put out a small value bet around $8.00 so that TT, JJ, T9, A9 etc. will look you up.
The only way id check behind is if your image is manic enough that he feels you wont check behind the river - allowing him to CR the river.

Since my river bet is 1/2 pot it might look like a bluff so Id probably call a CR.

Don't slowplay turn, specially if he has a high WSD. As played bet pot and call a raise.

I dont nessasarily disagree but why?

The turn check is OK IMO, obv we never like giving free cards but a bet takes you into commitment territory.
A check however gives super-agressives like this some rope to hang themselves.

Just my opinion, interested to hear others.
