Default Set of aces on turn on straighty board

Yet another situation in which I don't know what the right play is. Is turn too weak? If he has a flushdraw only I am giving him a free peek, but if I bet and get reraised it's going to be hard for me to draw.

I think I bet the turn. I doubt he checks the nutstraight on the turn, unless he also have the nut flushdraw. I he only has a flushdraw, I think the best play is to charge him to draw. So I bet turn, and fold if he raises, because he probably has the nuts if he does. River is a check I guess, since youre probably winning, and it sucks to be check/raised off the possibly best hand.

The check-call on the flop and check on turn screams flush draw. I'd bet this turn and re-evaluate if he re-raises you or pots the river.

stack sizes would be useful here but im happy potting the turn and folding to a rereiase if it comes - for all he knows your broadway just got there so if he flat calls i know hes got the flush draw and im betting any safe river

I think a read is important here. If he has some trappy tendencies, I'd at least sometimes check behind as you did: KT is a plausible hand for him to have, and you're right about not really being able to draw to fill up.

I think I'd bet it more than check behind, though, pretty much always vs. fairly straightforward player.

Stack sizes are crucial to know what the right play here is. If you guys are both deep, I prefer to check the turn and check the river. If it's short though, I put in a pot-sized bet on the turn.

Against 95% of the people i play against, the turn is an auto pot bet.
