Re: Assani\'s NFL Wagering Thread
So, we've got road teams in 4 out of 5 games, favorites in 4 out of 5 games, and you're admittedly betting Pittsburgh and New England simply because they've been hot this year without any regard for the spread. Hmmm, I think MyTurn's system might be a little more profitable than yours this week.

I actually didn't get to watch a single game this week though due to my move, so I'm not really sure how lucky or unlucky I was. I'll try to read some detailed analysis of the games. Will have my early week 5 thoughts sometime tonight or tomorrow probably. |

Re: Assani\'s NFL Wagering Thread
Been so busy these past 2 weeks. I apologize for the lack of more in depth analysis. I'll try to do better next week. Anyway here are my picks this week. Lines taken from the Wynn Saturday afternoon unless otherwise noted. Also all lines are -110 unless otherwise noted.
Carolina +3.5: Hard to bet against a team coming off a bye, but N.O. has just looked so bad. I could see Carolina losing by a point or two too. KC +2.5: I considered the money line here too. I think KC is just as good of a team. They were a playoff team last year, have played 3/4 road games, and are 2-2...why exactly does everyone think they suck? What exactly is different from last year's 10-6 team? I see no reason why they are underdogs here. Houston -4.5(note: Went to the Palms for this line): This line was all over the place, as high as 5.5 at some other places. NOt super confident here without Andre Johnson, but I still like Houston as a team and I like the nice line at the Palms. Cle +16.5: We saw what having a former assistant as your head coach can do last week with Pit/Ariz. I don't think Romeo will be letting his team get blown out. I see a 34-20 NE win. GB -3.5(-105): GB is simply the better team. This line is too influenced from last year's results imo. Buff +10.5: Dallas is not THAT good. They're a bit overrated right now. Buffalo isn't an easy place to play. |

Re: Assani\'s NFL Wagering Thread
I'm liking the Jets at +3.5. This is a statement game for them and a chance for Pennington to silence the critics. Dawkins is out and Westbrook might be out, or playing in a lot of pain.
Also Arizona at -4.5. The team is better with Warner behind center, and if Carr can't go, it'll probably be Vinny who just got signed this week. |
