Default Bottom set on very scare board 25/50 PLO

25 50 on small euro site. I have ~$4000 and both opponents cover, the game has been playing fairly tight, the villain of this hand has made small raise in about 75% of the hands preflop, but has been playing tight postflop.

I limp from button with 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB raises to $150 BB calls and I call.
Flop is A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB leads for $400 and BB folds. What is my plan? If I raise am i going to call reraise or fold.

It depends on villain's range. Obv AA and JJ are a decent part of his range but you have some sort of iffy redraw if you're behind. Though he could easily be playing any sort of AKQJ w or w/o clubs, KKQJ/KKQT w clubs, A245 w clubs, so you are good a decent amount of time here. If he is playing tight postflop then he probably won't CB his big draw here so if he follows up with a PSB on a blank turn you're usually behind here. Use your position to gain some information and just call the flop, reevaluate turn.

You really have to know your opponent here I think, standard for me in an aggressive 25 50 3 handed game with 80BB would be to raise and get it all in. You say your opponent is tight though: if he is also weak/predictable I raise and fold to push. Against a good but tight player call as everyone says.

This may sound counterintuitive because you are trying to outplay the good player on later streets, but make the decisions against the weaker players earlier in the hand. But in fact against the weaker opponents your equity edges are bigger when you do get it in.

Also I raise preflop unless there's some really good reason not to.

You aren't very far ahead of a big draw so I defenitly don't raise the flop. In spots like these against aggressive opponents I tend to call down when deeper and in this case with 80BB I shove the turn unless villian is a huge nit.

I like calling there as well. Raising tends to let most opponents play fairly accurately vs. you, imho. but the worse he is, the more i'd tend to raise.
