How often do you expect a .8 post flop aggression factor to bluff this river?

When i check and he bets AT i don't know if he thinks he's bluffing.

I like to just call from BB here. I know I give up some pf-equity but I suck when it comes to playing middle-pp:s OOP against a loose player and I don't think the foldequity we gain from a 3-bet is very huge. I rather wait to see a flop before I put a lot of bets in or take the passive line and let him fire with A-high.

As played I can't decide between b/f and c/c, all our options sucks but maybe c/c sucks less.

I'd b/c.

a) I want value from A-hi
b) I don't trust this guy enough to b/f
c) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is a pretty scary card and he probably doesn't have the flush (he raises a turn FD?). He might go for a river bluff-raise, giving us extra bluff-equity.

If the board was more random, like 2-5-6-J-K I'd be more inclined to c/c because then villain will bet more hands for us.

I agree that check call is probably the best play if you only have stats. Bet call is another good option, but I'd like to have some real reads on his post-flop play first. He has so many A high hands here.

Bet/call is spew IMO.

There isn't any busted draws so unless he starts making real tricky bluffs with A high he is never bluff raising.

Its fine to be careful about b/f'ing LAGs, but when there is no hand in his range worth bluffing you shouldnt call the raise just because he is LAGGY

you guys are nuts. why do you care about winning pots so much, what is the psychological reason for that. bet/call sucks, check/call sucks, bet/fold sucks, check/fold sucks, everything sucks in this spot. but it seems like people automatically discount ?/fold because he has high meow chow numbers and it would be AWFUL to fold against this guy. only it's not, because we're a dog if any action goes down on the river. bet/call is such spew it is ridiculous. check/call is backwards play. bet/fold is really the only option here because he WILL call with ace high.
