i think a9 is obviously likely. but he could have t9s, j9s, k9, no? some people's opening sb range includes those hands, regardless of blind structure. and less not forget that you now beat 22. obviously if you don't agree with this range, fold.

personally i snap call, and expect to lose a ton. but i give myself prolly at least a little more than 10% equity here, which is barely good but still good when getting 15-1.

He didnt open raise he 3bet. I dont think a 15%PFR players range includes those hands you mentioned oop vs a CO raise. His 35/15 stats looks like he would coldcall a lot of those hands but nbt raise.

He only needs to be overplaying 9x 1:15 times for a call to be correct. Anything else (retarded bluff, retarded 22 play) is just gravy.

And you have peace of mind equity as well.

oops. meant to say sb 3betting range.

i play with people all the time that have wide 3bet sb ranges, incl. people with all kinds of stats and in the 1/3, 2/5 structure. dunno if this guy is the type, obviously this is something for op to muse over. just stating my exp.

I hate these spots. I always call, and probably always lose. But I'm not going to start folding any time soon. He could be stepping out of line on a scare card on the turn. Or maybe his parents had a habit of dropping him when he was a child. Who knows. I don't feel good about calling, but that's what bartenders/shrinks/hookers are for.

KK? No one ever plays KK this way besides some real tilting uberfish. He has JTo here more often then KK. In the end it doesnt matter some call some fold. Flip a coin.
