I cant fold the river. Deuces is in his range if he 3-bangs a lot preflop and so is K9s and T9s.

Also, when he 3-bets turn he might be on some silly bluff thinking you are on a bluff. When you think about it his turn play represents AA and A9 a lot since that would be overplaying Ax seriously. So when the last A drops its much less likely he has A9 or AA and by Bayes rule much more likely he has some stupid bluff or deuces or K9. Also he might recognize the A as a card that might get you to fold 22 or 9x and put in one last desperate bluff bet.

Dunno I am rambling but I see too much silly stuff going on these days for me to fold this river.

BTW I hate your flop play and I think its by far the worst played street.

- raise flop when you still have BB in
- When you wait for the turn everybody with an IQ > 2 will know you have 9x. Popping the flop reps a lot more hands and will give you more action.

nah not really. as you said, hero should raise the flop when it is 3-way. now that it's heads up on the turn, i can totally see how he can have and 3-bet AQ/AK on the turn. and i don't think it's a serious overplay at all because hero should never have a nine here. either way, if you just put in a couple 9x hands in his range, it may be close to call to chop. doubt it, but again, these big and possibly close spots aren't too important.

How can a fold have a positive impact to heros metagame?
I will always call this river for metagame.

Its better that villain knows he was very lucky than he believes hero made some weird hopeless bluffs and surrenders the river.
