UCLA vs FSU tonight. Game is out in San Francisco. I know SF is a good bit away from LA but I'm still sure it's safe to say the crowd should be pro-UCLA.

That scare to Troy earlier in the season by FSU doesn't look as bad after Troy destroyed Rice...lol. I'm not sold on FSU rolling over and dying either though. I think it should be a good game. Wondering what other people's opinions are on the game.

Oh and MT2R, can bowl season "officially" begin now?

maybe,
this game will be ugly with the 30 MPH winds, good defenses, and crummy offenses. I'm on UCLA -3, U38.5, and FSU U205.5 passing yards.

I'm wondering if FSU has found a way to get their offense going with 3 more weeks of practice and preparing for the post-Bowdon Jr OC duties. With an offense, FSU is back to a top10 team. I'm just wondering if it was more issues with the o-line as well as poor playcalling that has been holding the Seminoles down.

Can FSU get Booker the ball out in the open field like Oregon did with Stewart verse UCLA? I highly doubt FSU will pass over UCLA like Notre Dame and Wazzu.

UCLA's Dorrell saved his job for awhile with the victory v SC. However, UCLA is used to success at a higher level and he needs to keep the momentum going.
UCLA's run game bounces from looking solid to anemic all year in the post JOnes-Drew era. If they can run through the middle, they'll win this game. (Of course, if anyteam can run through the middle, they'll usually win. )

not to be nit-picky, but that was an illegal formation on the 78 yd td pass for UCLA. There were 8 men on the line and only 3 off. Two guys on the line from the near side released downfield for the pass.

yes, i'm a nit

Its not really being a nit, the defense might have reacted differently if they were lined up correctly.

Do you think Booker helped his draft status by staying? I still think he is a early 3rd round pick. He has some awesome speed but I really have to question his vision or want to push for a few more yards. Maybe Im seeing things.
