QFT. I made a sportsbet for Cleveland to win the WS at 12/1 this year before the MLB regular season. ONE TIME!

I know I'm going to sound like a 'tard here, but...

...Early in the Gagne saga, I heard a scout say that Gagne's problem was that he wasn't throwing his change-up. That's supposed to be his best pitch, and he just wasn't throwing it.

I know I saw a few change-ups tonight--and he coasted to an easy 1-2-3 inning.

Here comes the 'tard part: I really think Gagne might contribute to this championship run, and actually EARN his player's share.

Or it could be that Cleveland down 12-2 had given up.

But it's remotely possible that he gets onto the WS roster. Before that 123 inning last night there was no way. But then he has to get a chance with the game on the line and I don't think Tito puts him into that situation.

But who knows strange things sometimes happen. In 04, DLowe was the last option and he ended up one of the pitching heroes.

You know how long it's been since my last trip to Fenway? The bleachers were general admission; $6; with no threat of a sell-out.

(I've been to a few road games since then.)

i saw that coco was like 6-8 vs westbrook so id v surprised if it wasnt him

i think the ellsbury thing was just a manager trying to shake things up (which is code speak for a manager being annoyed that he has no control over [censored]) and not really a new evaluation of coco v ellsbury

Crisp is 6-for-11 against Westbrook. I'll be mildly pissed if Ellsbury isn't in there tonight.

Crisp also had good numbers versus Carmona and that didn't stop the benching.
