I just received an email from western union about the info I need to provide (sender's name/loc, control code, amount). I was wondering if anyone here knows what to do with the info? Do I have to wait for a check in the mail and go to a WU location? Or do I go to a WU location and pick up the money? Thanks.

Yes, you go to a Western Union with the info and an ID. They will cut you a check and probably offer you the option to cash it with no fee right there. The check will say Western Union on it so you can feel great about putting it in your bank account.
