His check call on the turn is interesting. JJ with the J of diamonds would pay off a small value bet most likely. I'm not sure what calls a shove that you beat. If he open shoved this river, that would be a hard spot.... probably a call, but not a fun one.

Lol exactly. PLEASE check, let him donk chips if he doesnt have flush. Then if he has flush, you win, but if he has nuts, you saved money.

if we aren't folding, we likely win more by betting. Simply compare his calling range and his betting range.

how much are you gonna bet. only a shove makes sense, and hes not calling with much worse.

meh, is he really betting the river if we check?? i actually prefer a bet ourselves, try to get some value out of this imo
