Default .5/1 Prima Network, GutShot + FD

Hey,

so this kind of situation happend more often that I tough.

so I got position on the guy, He open raise fold to me I trey it on the Button, he calls.

I got KJss
Flop come : 2s Ah Qs
He donks, I raise (good for free card the turn?), he calls.

Turn: (non spade) check-check.

River: not one of my outs, he bets out...

Only option is to let it go?
Do I ever beat anything?

fold preflop unless he opened in the CO and u know how he plays postflop

flop raise isnt great or bad. I think id call and keep my implied odds. equity wise if u have any fold equity raising for a freecard with ur 12 out slight dog hand isnt bad, so if uve seen him donk into a pf3bettor and fold a raise would be good, or if u see him donk and fold in steals spots other times but ud prefer to have seen it in this situation to raise thinking you have fold equity (some players will never not go to the river with any hand theyd donk here).

as for the river I fold as played, 6:1 probably isnt enough to call hoping he has JT or spades (since he may not open many SCers in the HJ or utg) and Asxs has u beat obviously and u having the K and J and the Q being out takes away a lot of the other suited hands he mite open besides like T9 98. altho maybe its closer to a call after this action then I think, the flop donk into a pf3 makes the hand a bit weird, if u had 3bet a cr, ck'd behind the turn and then he bet the river I think thats still a fold just becuz again there arent many drawing hands he could have if he has a standard opening range.

In a blind battle it could be a call? not sure

Reads!?

I don't raise for freecard on this flop, I raise because I have a good hand and for bluffequity. I bet turn as a semibluff because he may have donked with a queen (as a lot of fish would) and he could fold that to a turn bet. If c/r:d on turn you call and fold UI river.

The only option is to be passive and call flop hoping to hit your draw and raise on the big streets. But I would only choose that line against a very agressive player and with more bluffcatching value.

thanks, this opens up my eyes alot... As far as reads, lets just say I have no idea, he was new. I see the same player where I play alot, but this time I played on different hours b/cit was a rainy saturday..

Oh and Fold PreFlop ? even if he open UTG I think I'm good.. players are quite bad. I think he might have a PP, because of check turn and bet river.

u really 3bet KJs vs a utg raise in six max?

even KQs seems questionable, or KJs vs an HJ raise.
