I know I'm going to sound like a 'tard here, but...

...Early in the Gagne saga, I heard a scout say that Gagne's problem was that he wasn't throwing his change-up. That's supposed to be his best pitch, and he just wasn't throwing it.

I know I saw a few change-ups tonight--and he coasted to an easy 1-2-3 inning.

Here comes the 'tard part: I really think Gagne might contribute to this championship run, and actually EARN his player's share.

He hasn't pitched 'that' bad. What I think is funny about the Gagne situation and 'fans' is how easy they noticed that CLE was running real hot (like BOS did tonight) with BABIP and BOS wasn't. Yet, these same fans fail to realize that Gagne was/is running real bad, yet, in his 20.8 innings he gave up 1 HR, 27 K, 11 BB, and FIPS 3.17.
