Default Philly -3 vs New Orleans

Anybody else really like this play? I know that New Orleans is 4-1 and playing at home, but it just seems to me like they aren't on the same level as a team like Philly. The only thing that's bothering me about this is that it's reminding me alot of the KC line last week. Thoughts?

I really like it. Squeaking out a win over TB is not impressive.

Would you still like it if it went up to -3.5 (105)?

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but NO should be a slight favorite to win.

Why don't you feel they're on the same level? The spread indicates that they're not on the same level btw i.e. the spread indicates that the Eagles are a significantly better team. So maybe the line is about right.

pirateboy, my rankings show the Eagles should be a small favorite on a neutral field. Factor in home field advantage and the Saints should be the ones laying a small number. Throw into the mix the likely letdown of Philadelphia and I figure I'm getting a good deal with New Orleans.

I've never ever seen an Andy Reid, healthy, team have a letdown v a winning opponent. Can't think of one.

NajdorfDefense, how often have they come off a week where all they heard about was TO? I don't feel you need the letdown to have value with the Saints, but psychologically speaking the Eagles are certainly going into this game with a different mindset than they were against Dallas.

I grabbed five units of Philly -3 -102 early. Didn't post as an "early edition" pick because I don't feel the line will move that far... but I agree, I think that Philly is going to bring the Saints down to earth here big time.
