Hatton/Mayweather?

There's been some trash talk between the fighters camps, and a few quotes from Mayweather about how he will "come out of retirement" to fight Hatton.

1) Will the fight happen?
2) Does Hatton have a shot?

I don't know enough about boxing to make an informed judgement, but I think I would enjoy watching Mayweather take a beating.

i think it could be a fun fight. hatton throws punches, mayweather doesn't. mayweather wins the decision, though.

LOL at anyone thinking Hatton has a shot. He is not even one of the best 5 pound for pound fighters. I would rather see Winky vs Mayweather but Floyd is to smart to fight Winky.

Got great potential to be an awesome fight, but think it may well be a step too far for Hatton. He's got the explosive power to pose a threat to Mayweather, the shot to Castillo was evidence enough, but whether he can be tactical enough to beat him is another matter. He's likely to expose himself when trying to hit Mayweather and get caught on the counter, which could be his downfall.

Maybe because that would require him to move up in weight classes AGAIN, after having already moved up once to fight DLH. I bet he'd fight if Winky'd drop 13 pounds.

This fight will happen, Mayweather will let himself get out-punched and will lose the decision, setting up the big $$$ re-match.

Seriously, if floyd doesn't massively overmatch his opponent he just runs around, flurries and leaves. It's not entertaining AT ALL. Plus he's a jackass.
