Default TPTK dangerous board/crowded pot facing donk bet

No reads on the villain. What's the best line here?

Hero (UTG): $115.90
MP: $29.00
CO: $125.60
BTN: $180.90

Hero raises to $4, MP calls $4, CO folds, BTN calls $4, SB calls $3.5, BB folds

This seems to be a pretty standard call and re evaluate on the turn given that tptk is a pretty marginal hand on this board given that there are many hands that hit this flop very well.

Villain has 45BB. I'm fine with raising the flop and putting him AI on the turn.

I thought this and raised it to $24, it was only when everyone called that I thought it may have been better to call and re-evaluate on the turn. The turn was an Ace.

Man what an ugly spot. If you just call, you're likely to be involved in a rather large pot out of position with a marginal holding on a dangerous board.

If you raise, you're inflating the pot even more, and you're likely to be called by something that either is beating you now or has good equity vs. your hand.

I honestly don't have a good answer. I think I just call the flop though.
