1) fine
2) i prefer a 3-4x raise or even a limp isnt bad here since we're almost getting odds for a set. pots not big enough to make this a hugely +ev push
3) id rather bet out flop than check/raise. your risking giving a free card, although the check raise doesnt seem THAT bad
