Put the following in a notepad file and then re-save as a .BAT file. If your pp closes in session, you will still lose the notes you've typed during it. :

@echo off
IF NOT EXIST "%programfiles%\partygaming\partypoker\notes backup\" MKDIR "%programfiles%\partygaming\partypoker\notes backup\"

for /f "tokens=1-3 delims=/- " %%a in ('date /t') do set XDate=%%a-%%b-%%c
for /f "tokens=1-3 delims=: " %%a in ('time /t') do set XTime=%%a-%%b-%%c

IF EXIST "%programfiles%\partygaming\partypoker\notes.t xt" COPY "%programfiles%\partygaming\partypoker\notes.t xt" "%programfiles%\partygaming\partypoker\notes backup\notes.%XDate%_%XTime%.txt

cd %programfiles%\partygaming\

start partygaming.exe -P=PartyPoker

So,you use this bat file to start party rather than just using the party icon?

I do. I can't take credit for it though...someone else posted it (probably in the software forum) and then it fell into this forum.

Anyone knows where the BBJ hit? Kinda curious. Is it more likely to hit on a Full Ring Limit table?

This just makes a copy of your notes file each time before you play, right?

My problem is losing the notes I've taken during a session, when party decides to shut down on it's own.

And the Russians with their short-stacks...

I wonder if they're starting poker schools, methods, systems etc. over there just like they've done with chess.

Yeah, can't help you there. I deal with the same loss periodically. I keep saying I'm going to leave but I always find myself right back where I started.
