TPTK in a raised pot, how many options do I really have?

Considering the action....after getting RR preflop and led out at the flop, what are my options here? It's a pretty scary flop, and I have no read at all.....

you call his 3 bet pre with AQ, so you must expect your TP hand to be good on this flop. With no reads, you fold this preflop to his re-raise. As played 3bet and call shove.

Not a scary flop and you don't need to worry about (m)any draws. This is what you wanted to flop. Don't worry about hearts. You are the one that called the 3bet so this flop should be ugly for him unless he has only JJ+. And, that doesn't seem like a very good range. Much looser. I call and let him keep betting.

You call? why? what is your plan for any turn where SB leads? There aren't many cards that will improve your hand, most make it more speculative.

exactly what I said in my first post. raise the flop to 15 or so, call a shove. There is no raise/folding option.

[/ QUOTE ]Hand doesn't need to be improved. In all likelyhood HIS does. There are very few cards to be worried about on the turn. How many people 3bet and have a flush/straight draw here? I'd fold if he fired at a Ten. Everything else is relatively safe. Raising the flop you get value from KQ... what else? We're in awesome shape agaisnt AK/AJ, shove any Ace or Queen obv. The only thing I'm concerned about on the turn facing a bet is that we're beat on the flop. I'd call again against an aggro player. Maybe even raise certain cards like a heart. We have position, very probably the best hand, and the ability to manuever.

Am I wrong?

Calling broadens his range when he bets out. He may take it as weakness and bluff, or he may be giving you a ride to valuetown. Why give him the chance to bluff you off your hand or outdraw you?

[/ QUOTE ]Because I'm not folding? What could he be drawing to, 2-4 outs? He'll often pickup a big heart draw on the turn and fire again. That's fine. Pushing over his turn bet IMO better than raise/call on flop. It's the same result but better chance you get called by worse hand.

The point of poker is to get your money in while your hand is best is why you dont call down gg time for sleep Im burnt out just think about it
