Continuing to go through the NBC preairs, I caught Chuck tonight. I liked this show more than I probably should have. It's not very intellectual, the characters are fairly shallow, and the plot was fairly predictable. However, it was still fun, a lighthearted and entertaining romp. If I feel like I want another show to watch for an hour of mindless entertainment, this could fit the bill.

Is that the reality type show with teams of fighters?

Gordon Ramsey's new show is on tonight. I think it's worth checking out. 9:00 pm.

Fo reals? Cool, thanks for the heads up! Hmm, I think that's the same time as Top Chef. Well, TOp Chef can usually be seen in reruns at least. But I'll have to skip a Ramsey show the night the final of Top Chef comes out, because they may not rerun that one, since the show will be done for the season.

I watch too much TV, so definitely following

1. Football
2. Baseball playoffs (assuming Bosox don't completely choke in the next ten days)
3. FNL
4. Heroes
5. Lost
6. CSI and CSI:NY (Miami can eat a whole bag of [censored])
7. Wire
8. Shield
9. Greys

Shows I'm giving 2-3 episodes chance:

1. Kville (not promising)
2. Life
3. The one with Vorenus from Rome and/or Chuck if they aren't the same show
5. Cane (low expectations, but could be awesomely bad)
6. Private Practice (also low low low low expectations, considering the cast is like the 'cancelled show allstars' - I count 3 shows that got dinged last years, at least, in
7. Big Shots
8. Dirty Sexy Money

Time to wrap up the reviews of the new NBC shows with Bionic Woman. There was a review in OOT that said Bionic Woman was retarded, but I disagree. It's overly melodramatic in places, but I think a lot of it was having to build up a lot of characters really quickly in a 1 hr episode. I sure hope they explain how the dad got out of prison so quickly and easily in the next episode, though. Hopefully that won't be a dumb plot hole. I'm not a big fan of the female villain's acting, but it's not a deal breaker yet. All in all, this could be a solid superhero action show. For me, this was the best of the NBC shows so far. If it can keep this up, I'll be a regular watcher.

i saw the bionic woman preair, is it any diffrent from the one that came on?

i thought it was alright, but i had watched the Sarah connor chronicles before which was very good, so it could have been a let down becasue of that.

really excited about the unit and criminal minds, boston legal and brothers and sisters. csi vegas left me hanging and im waiting for that

Heroes AND Dancing with the Stars both premiere tonight, along with Chuck and Journeyman for anyone who's interested in those.
