Default Table talk or aquarium tap?

2/5 NL, in LA.
Moron is 400 behind and UTG.
I'm about 3k behind and on the button.

Moron makes it 25 to go. All fold to me and I call with AJ.
Blinds fold.

Flop is xJx.
UTG bets pot. I call cause I'm tricky.
Turn is x.
UTG bets about 150. I put him in. He tanks.

Me: come on bud, you can't call that.
Moron: whatya got?
Me: AQ obv.
Moron: That's what I thought. He calls.
River is a brick and Moron tables...wait for it...AQ.
I show and start laughing or something like that.
Moron: (shouting) You fxcking lied to me! I'm gonna kick your ass. Parking lot right now!
Me: lololololololololololo....
Table: lololololololoooo.
Floorman: Mr Moron. You have to leave.

So, assuming that he woulda reloaded did I cost myself money or was I creating a nit? Or, I was just being a jerk?

Neither Table Talk or tapping, you are just a jerk off. Keep practicing those internet manners in a live game, see how long before someone taps your jaw. I would almost rather deal with the raids and the robberies in NYC that this type of nonsense, at least I know I play with grown men who have at least an ounce of class.

Nothing wrong with this at all, it's up to the other player to determine whether or not to believe your statement. The guy believed a random opponent and then called in the hopes of chopping, how is the OP the moron?

The key thing about telling poker stories that make you look good is that... well, they have to make you look good.

Lying about the hand was fine.

Slowrolling then laughing was the moron move.
