Default Is it possible to play shorthanded/6max in AC?

I play 6max online, and I'm not very fond of playing at full tables. I have been to AC several times and tried different rooms. At best, some tables get down to 8 or 7 in the middle of the night. Is this my best bet? Are there any poker rooms that are more likely to have short handed tables?

B&M casinos have no reason to intentionally offer 6-max tables, since the rake is usually cut to compensate for more hands per hour. late night at less-popular cardrooms is indeed your best bet.

You could play stud, which is 8-player max. Or an SNG.

The average (recreational) casino poker player does not like to play in short handed games. Most players avoid shorthanded play.

The poker rooms do not like to spread shorthanded games because it will cut into the casino's "botton line".

You will not have much success finding a short handed live game in Atlantic City, unless you dont mind playing from 4am-11am.

Supposedly, the Taj has been offering this lately.
