People have remarked on what I order at the casino: Egg whites and steamed broccoli, fish and vegetables, salad with chicken. I'm pretty careful of what I eat almost always and I really ought to be losing weight but its not working.

[/ QUOTE ]
If you haven't lost ANY weight, you're either not being honest about what you eat all the time, or you're eating entirely too much. If you ate like [censored] before and started eating 500 calories less a day, there's no way you wouldn't lose any weight at any point.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm being 90% honest I AM going to Morton's tomorrow night.........

I eat either a roasted chicken breast and grilled vegetables at the local gourmet market en route to the poker room or a Lara Bar and a banana that I bring with me to Starbucks. And I'm still fat. I'm still fat. I don't get it.

45 minutes of cardio 3 times a week will help with that

[/ QUOTE ]

I personally guarantee 20 minutes of full exertion rowing/ergs or jump-rope, 3x per week, will fix that.

1 measly hour a week. Don't say you can't find the time.

glazed salmon on a bed of almond rice with a side of vegetables (broccoli/carrots) at Applebees.

I haven't ever been to Applebees before in years. It was good.

Yeah they are pimping the hell out of those chili cheese burritos in Phoenix right now. It's their featured special item. Guess it's a regional thing.

[/ QUOTE ]

We've like always had them, shrug.

I went to Boloco and had a buffalo chicken wrap with lettuce instead of celery. Also had a strawbana smoothie.

where in the country do you live that your Taco Bells still have the chili cheese burrito? This was my all time favorite fast food item ever, but they don't seem to sell them anywhere in New England anymore.

Seattle.

If you had just put that info in your location, I wouldn't have had to ask.

unless you're drinking black coffee at starbucks, you could be cruising for a bruising. "roasted" or "steamed" does not necessarily imply that butter or oil haven't been used, and restaurants can be horribly liberal with the latter. if your food has human-variable portion sizes or no nutrition label you cannot be sure about the number of calories you are consuming, and counting/restricting calories is the basic method of weight loss.

Astro,

Where can I buy that. It looks beyond delicious.

[/ QUOTE ]

it actually comes in a plastic, non-fancy bowl. ethnic gourmet products are available at seemingly all of my local grocers, whole foods, etc in the frozen section. if you have trouble locating them, see if yours has an ethnic/natural/organic/etc frozen foods section.
