3 bet with 33?
This a $26, 17k tilt turbo. villain is 44/33/4 after 20 hands.
Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $80/$160 9 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $2395 UTG+1: $2790 MP1: $1470 MP2: $4785 MP3: $1830 CO: $3765 Button: $7850 SB: $1599 Hero: $3870 Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 folds, Button raises to $400, SB folds, Hero folds. Uncalled bets: $240 returned to Button. Results: Final pot: $400 Couldn't decide on best option at the time so just avoided the risk and folded. Calling seems out of the question since we'll be check/folding the flop mostly, is this a good spot for a push do you think? |

Re: 3 bet with 33?
Only $240 more? I'm calling for set value all day if we're 20+ bb's deep.
I'm my opinion call>>>fold>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>raise |

Re: 3 bet with 33?
Can you expand on any reads you have on the villian? You say he's 44, is he calling re-raises pre-flop with trash or raise folding, whats he like on the flop? Does he bet/call with nothing?

Re: 3 bet with 33?
sorry no read on villain other than pt stats - been reading too much 2+2!
If he calls a push we're about 42% against his calling range and we must have around 10-20% FE so I don't think a push is too bad an option. The fact that this is a turbo makes me inclined to take a flip now rather than waiting for a good hand we might not pick up soon enough and be forced to put it in with rags. |

Re: 3 bet with 33?
I'd need a good read not to 3 bet here. Most villains with half a clue are raising wide on the button. If you don't want to do that calling is fine, folding is the worst option.

3 bet and call a shove [/ QUOTE ] I think this is probably good here or just shoving (although it is an overbet). Folding is quite bad here. Seriously we have a guy who is raising 33% of his hands! From that button that is like ATC. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think i like 3-betting/calling or 3-betting/open-shoving any flop (although your stack size is good for this) if flatcalled pre. Both seem spewy with 20BBs. I think i call pre. Shoving pre is the worst option (including folding.) |

Re: 3 bet with 33?
Yeah, chances are he doesn't have a hand worth paying off a set, but the guy's AF is 4. I'm flatting every time.
