Default 6max: scary turn card against unkown

Villan has only been at the table for a few hands. MP has been limping a lot with a vpip of 50 which is why I raised.

MP ($8.95)
Hero ($26.50)
Button ($28.45)

BB ($18.60)
UTG ($25.20)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

I'd fold.

There are lots that beat you here and the flop raise narrows his range.

yeah, I guess the only thing I can really beat here is a bluff. Should wait for a better spot. Was just second guessing myself a bit :P.

I fold here, but out of curiosity, what is your plan with the hand after you make call on the flop

also, are you standardly raising kjo from co with 1 limper in the pot?

I think preflop is fine, although you might not want do it against a very aggressive button.

I think your flop cbet is too small, make it at the very least $2. It looks weak, invites calls or raise from flushdraws or overcards. Now you don't know if this guy minraises for value or because you look weak. Usually I think it's for value and/or getting initiative in a hand. Anyway, I think your hand sucks against a minraise OOP. I'd fold, preferably against the flop minraise and definitely against the turn bet.

A lot of people play back at continuation bets and then shut down in later streets when called. I figured it would save me more money then if I played back at him, which would effectively turn my hand into a bluff. And as explained raised to isolate limper who had massive vpip.

Also that is my standard continuation bet. Should I start betting 2/3 - 3/4 on every flop I cbet?
