FWIW, a 10+ buy in downswing can easily be variance. It could also be down to just being a bad player, which is usually the case with most people.

LOL, I've gone on a 10 buy in downswing from my peak to my low point of the day on 3 seperate days this week.... a "10 buy in downswing" gets a big LOL.

i have no idea whether or not your a winning player, but losing 40 buyins to variance is entirely possible and does not mean ur a losing player. u should ignore any posts that try to suggest such(pretty much every post in this thread)

yea, great advice...ignore how ur playing, don't even consider it could be bad play. oh and if u lose another 40 BIs just chalk it up to some more of that nasty variance.

Whatever kind of player he is in the long run, losing 40 buy-ins means you aren't playing well and you have to do some things to improve your game man, it doesn't get much simpler than that.

Drop the pride and move down. $200 feels so insanely easy after playing $400 for a while. If nothing else, it will bring your confidence sky rocketing back and you can't underestimate the importance of that. You really can't play well if you expect to lose, and from the tone of your post - that seems to be exactly the case.
