When I leave a table, I just sit out and minimize it and leave it a few minutes later so PT doesn't miss any hands. I used to have that problem all the time.

Unclick "auto post blinds" instead of clicking "sit out", wait for blinds to come around to you and click the big sit out button or just time out. Wait for the next hand to start being dealt before you close the window, and you'll never miss a hh (unless you get disconnected).
