Beat: I go to Shinders to get a fantasy footbal cheat sheet 16 hours before my draft and they're closed.

Beat: I go to the bookstore in the same strip mall and sift thru their crappy fantasy football magazines before settling on (hopefully) the least crappy one.

Brag: I got to the liquor store after this and beer is 10% off again!

Brag: You have Guinness.

Beat: You bought the [censored] bottles.

There's a newer bottle - taller and black label - that has the little nitris widget in it (similar to the cans) that makes it taste much closer to what you get on tap. And unlike the cans, the widget bottles can be drunk without being poured into a glass first.

Keep giving us the updated photos.

ps - as a Mass-hole, I love seeing the Sam Adams there.

The mtt forum kinda sucks some times. How do you guys play this, this is a 4.40/180, villain just moved to the table.

No reads, villain just showed up. Do I keep the pot small with a 2500 bet on the turn, or do I continue to hammer the pot with a 4000 bet? I'm torn between keeping the pot small in case his fd got there and value betting Ax. I've got 12k and the pot on the turn is 6.4k, I feel like I'm getting pot committed. This always happens to me in these 4.40/180s, I get the 2nd or 3rd chip stack and I get an unknown villain with a bigger stack on my left.

So I play in my first Super Nova freeroll and realize people play those like idiots just like any other tournament. I run into a player I played a bunch in the 9mans who sucked then, and he still sucks now. How can these people play enough to make Super Nova?

I suggest pork butt. despite actually being the shoulder of the pig, it's name allows for a nearly-endless stream of off-color jokes.

"Hey lady! Come over here and catch a huge whiff of my butt."
"Who wants to take a big bite of my butt?"

...and so on.

I like to see how many times I can open shove until I get called. Record is 11 I think. This one I shoved 56s utg first hand, and got called by AJKHoosier with T7s. Doubled up. 4 hands later I was out. Damn AQ.

meh. In a cash game I'd fire again for sure.

In a tournament, it's a pretty sic spot because you can't really control the pot size with the stack sizes as is. If you take the c/c line, you still be playing for most your stack.

So, bet/folding might be good against an unknown. However, if you are going to bet small, I think you have to call or 3-bet a raise. I'd rather put in a normal size bet (for mtts this isn't that large >1/2 but doesn't have to be much more) and then fold to a shove.

Why couldn't the flop have been AQx? Woulda been much easier.

bigdad4187, please use some game selection when playing the 27s. It would benefit us all.

So last night I hit my first real MTT cash. Took 7th at a $11R with 1700 players. Getting $1560 is awesome, though a little bittersweet ($13k 1st prize). I want to thank SammyKid for sweating me, and I want to thank STTF for helping me get better at winning coinflips.

Best suckout of the game: I get it all in pf 3-way with JJ, both villains turn up KK. I hit the straight and do a [censored] backflip.
