Default $27turbo: Two overcards and OESD

PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t100 (7 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

UTG (t2650)
UTG+1 (t1305)
MP1 (t1685)
CO (t1660)
Button (t3115)
Hero (t1475)
BB (t1610)

Preflop: Hero is in SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
<font color="gray">UTG folds</font>, <font color="gray">UTG+1 folds</font>, <font color="gray">MP1 folds</font>, <font color="gray">CO folds</font>, Button calls t100, Hero calls t50, BB checks

Flop: (t300) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, <font color="red">Button bets t200</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to t600</font>, <font color="gray">BB folds</font>, <font color="gray">Button folds</font>

Button tends to limp alot. I seen him limp mp with 7's and other positions with QJs and KQs. I am completely lost on how to play this hand. All I know I is that I can't fold right? I think the mini-raise on the flop is terrible right? How would you play this? Maybe check raise is good because most likely button will bet right? Do I just call his bet or raise or push all in?

By raising on flop you have just committed you to the pot. Do you expect to push any turn?

I would probably call and re-evaluate on turn (that's 30% of my stack tought). I prefer the call leaves us more options.

I think that if you are going to raise, re-raise all-in to have FE

I'd just let it go after he bets the flop. After you raise his bet though, you absolutely cannot fold if he comes over the top as it commits you to the pot and you have lots of outs.

edit: the more I think about it, I like a crai with your read on this guy.

I like the checkraise, but I'd push. You're giving the button almost 3-to-1 to call.

Anyone push this preflop? KQ might be too good for that play, and it's probably too early, but it seems like a reasonable way to take down a decent pot.

I like it, with your read that you have that he limps a lot of hands, a C/R will get him to fold more often than not. Very good spot for a semi-bluff IMO

I'm not sure on how much to raise, I think I agree with an all in check raise. If you had more chips than a raise to like 700 would work.

I really hate calling here though, calling OOP with a draw just seems like a bad play to me.

well, pot is 200, stack 1475.
really think that's worth it?
if you're called, you are dominated or a 45-55 dog.

Yeah, really don't want to get called. That's probably why KQ is probably the wrong hand for this.
