I thought PS had a policy against account sharing ? Didn't they ban some accounts for that reason ?

not that I'm aware of.
Letting somebody else play on your account is evidently okay I think.
YOU have more than one account of your own is not allowed though.

I believe they have specifically said that they allow letting others play on your account because there really isn't anything they can do to prevent it.
My memory might be off about this one though.

Yes, I believe this was settled by the Great Monkey Email some time back. PokerStars indicated that they could not be held responsible for players letting loose-aggressive pet monkeys play on the players' accounts.

this is incorrect

they banned neverwin for 3 months or something and temp banned anyone who they thought might have let him play on their account for a few days while investigating

they have made their stance here pretty clear recently
