Re: FT200 AQs unorthodox
I wish we had more reads because the only reason I really expect to get called here is if CO can read hands, otherwise he'll probably just curse his luck that you rivered trips and fold. Also, this loses value against hands like Tx/99/88 which might call river bets sometimes but will otherwise check behind. It's also the preferred option against whiffed diamonds/straight draws so it's the kinda spot where you could go either way.
Were you planning to c/r flop? I guess you can c/c too depending on how the action unfolds. |

I wasn't exactly sure what to do but I'm not gonna lead out into unknowns. edit: I just sat btw, and the UTG info was from previous play/mining so I wasn't familiar with his play yet. |

Re: FT200 AQs unorthodox
Yeah the flop check is good, esp with your relative position vs UTG.

Re: FT200 AQs unorthodox
i hate the river, you hand is not that great here for a 4 way flop though no one has shown any strength.

Re: FT200 AQs unorthodox
I honestly like the river, if he has a Q he'll bet, if he has busted draw you're giving him the chance to bluff. He would've prob bet a T on the flop. Furthermore your line is so weird he'll prob look you up light.
CS why do you not like the river c/shove? |

Re: FT200 AQs unorthodox
I don't like the river raise. It isn't for value for sure, because if you're called you're beat a lot more than 50% of the time (like... what calls that we beat? KQ and that's probably it). So the only reason to do it is for some sick meta-game or w/e. But does hero need sick meta-game against a 33/15?
Edit: Uh... It's probably not a good bluff too... Like... what will he fold? |

Re: FT200 AQs unorthodox
river check is ok, but the raise is really thin. i suppose we'll get calls from worse hands sometimes, but not often enough. throw in the fact that CO is unknown, I like it even less.
