Hmm. 1000th post and using it in the NC thread. Probably an accurate reflection of my value to the forum...

Anyway, just got back from my regular home tournament. Finished first for the tidy sum of $371 on a $30 buy-in plus a $20 rebuy. Unlike my usual tournament demeanor of survival tonight was take no prisoners win it all or die in the attempt pokah. Definitely some luck involved but I pulled off some audacious moves as well. It's a good thing because I have to rebuild my live bankroll after my wife took $1000 bucks from it without permission and without informing me.

Meanwhile my online situation is less good. I have lost roughly a third of my bankroll in the last couple of weeks, mostly from a stab at 2/4 where variance jumped up and bit me in the butt hard and then some badly played sessions at 1/2. I think I need to retool my game a bit and I'll be looking in the stox book for guidance.
