some of you sound like you have a bit of the higher level hand reading and you will probably be successful as you keep moving up. the others, however, have a long way to go. some of you who take great pride in how awesome you sound on 2p2 are embarrassing yourselves.

This thread looks like it's gotten pretty derailed but since I've been avoiding it for awhile, I'll chime in that villain is basically representing nothing and judging by his turn bet isn't usually going to have a hand that's capable of calling a river shove. I feel like for him to be able to call a shove he'd have to have a really badly played set or something that made two pair on the river (which he isn't gona fold for $128 more).

I think the river line itself is fairly weird; gp, why not c/r? Was your small lead to fold out draws cheaply or to induce a bluff raise so that you could b/3b? I'd file this under something that "makes sense but I would never do at the table cause I'm a pussy." Which doesn't mean it's bad, just that I'm personally too much of a chicken to shove a buyin in on the riv over his raise. I guess I need to trust reads more? I dunno.

Interesting hand though. I'd like to know results certainly.

So I stay away from 2+2 for a few days and now open up SSNL to try and find a few good strategy threads.

Big [censored] surprise, the hand history thread with the most replies is just a massive e-penis "metagame" circle-jerk.

Unreal.
