Ew. I'd look him up this time. Think its possible that he's shoving jacks?

I think it's close but I kinda agree with jones, check turn given the very little history you have.

i think you should be less concerned with stacking 99/JJ and more concerned with pot control as this board destroyed his range for calling a RR OOP. Checking behind lets you just call river bets (which lets him bluff), making money from his air and saving money when you're crushed. I don't think you represent AK as well as you think you do since this is a common type of flop to check behind with AA or KK.

As played, I'd fold... esp since if he did put you on AK he prob wouldn't bet a big hand since he doesn't expect you to call with it... and now he's just hoping you checked behind AA or KK. This obviously isn't definite but it's a likely explanation.

after you check flop (clearly for pc) wtf do you think is just going to check call check call, assuming you think he's decent, Tx? c'mon now.

if you really thought you were doing that, getting two streets of value, then i gues syou have to call, if you think he can ever randomly be turning a hand with moderate showdown into a bluff to get you off precisely what you're representing here.

but since i don't think you can get two streets, just play for one, he's not good enough ot check the river again, you play the hand real well if you check the turn or bet the flop.
