TT, if you go on the Foxwoods website and look under results they have pictures of everyone who has made a final table. Obviously I know who a couple guys are (Raj, Bernie) but the rest were randomly chosen in an (failed) attempt to be funny.

I HIGHLY doubt that any/most of them would think they were targeted or slandered and I bet some of them welcome action (read: they're prob pretty good).

Anyone who says there's collusion among the tourney regulars is off their rocker.

I've played with all of them for a long time, and I can tell you that many of them are very, very, very good players, and also VERY competitive. They all want to win. Note I'm not talking about the regular fish that come to the poker room and play the $120 SNGs or Act 1's. I'm thinking of the 20 or 30 die-hard tourney regulars that live at FW. And do consistently win there.

Do a number of the regulars stake each other/have a piece of each other? Maybe so. But guess what - that's no different than any other live MTT scene/series you're going to run into anywhere.

Play all the act 2's and 3's that go every weekend for a few months and tell me if you still think they're colluding. The Act 3's are cutthroat. You see a lot of careful play, and some big laydowns, but this is just as much because a lot of us know each other's plays/hand ranges/moves inside and out like a book.

I personally have three full size notebooks full of information on the regulars. Absolutely essential knowledge if you want to consistently be successful playing tournies there.

I said 'soft-playing'.

There's a difference and it definitely happens.

Drunk dave those were the days. There is no collusion. you see all the same people in the act III every week. Simple the people who are good win multiple seats the people who are bad cry collusion. The kid in the michigan hat is a great player/stud and will prob slap all of you in the face with 10k.

Well I should apologize and say that collusion was too strong of a word. I was half-joking at the time. I misspoke, I should have said softplay.

Lets put it this way, if you are in a act II satellite where top two pay and there are you and two regs left in it, they aint gonna be going all in against each other. In fact, one I was in 4 handed, and the two regs cut a share-deal with each other, leaving me and another guy out of it, which I WOULD call collusion, but there was nothing I could do about it.

P.S. the $120 SnGs with *20%* juice are still +ev, if you play them you should know.

Its basically like playing an online 3.40 turbo. The blinds go up really quick, and the quality might actually be worse if thats even possible. Ok 20% juice, but you have people who will min-raise and then call a shove w/ pocket 3's lol. Just ridiculous play quality in these things, who cares about how bad you get raked.
