call turn and call river. i might sound absurd, but i think it is quads or air.

[/ QUOTE ]

I really think its quads because its redargoe and I've never seen him make an over the top move with air.

I've played with him at $1/2-$3/6 though but I really don't think he'd become a nut at $10/20 from his poker demenoar at Small Stakes-Mid Stakes.

The ten is a bad card for hero

lol at making this claim and not backing it up when its the complete opposite of what has been noted. What are you, god?

One element of this hand that I've completely ignored, idk if anyone else has, is the fact that we not only can easily have a boat, but we can also easily have trip 9's or a straight. Our hand is completely overrepped.

I think we have to call the turn but we should fold river.

pretty sure this is 99, 10-10, or 9-10 at least 90 percent of the time.I dont think he ever has KJ or aces or kings. if you were slowplaying a big hand the flop would be an excellent one to RR, and i dont think he can value town KJ unless your a station or he has a crazy image(which i doubt).

I don't hate a turn check here in general, and especially if you feel like he is due to play back at you.

[/ QUOTE ]That's an aside I've been pondering. Because yeah, I'd also be less likely to value bet light against somebody who I feel is due to play back at me, but isn't that an EV-/variance- play while making that value bet would be EV+/variance+ play?

If we feel like we have to fold to a c/r but he's going to c/r a good amount of air, or just the right amount to the point we still have to fold, I think you're correct. BUT most of the time if you feel someones due to play back at you you shouldn't play the opposite of your read.
